Domestic & International Shipping:
At Sleep City & The Furniture Store in Piqua, we proudly offer local delivery and setup within a 40-mile radius of our store. As a small, family-owned business with a single location, long-distance shipping can be challenging, as freight costs for heavy furniture often exceed the price of the items themselves. However, mattresses in a box can be conveniently shipped directly to your home.

We charge a delivery fee based on your location: $60 for local drop-off or starting at $99 for white-glove delivery and setup. Fees may vary depending on distance and setup time and go directly to our dedicated delivery team to ensure they are valued and continue providing excellent service.

Returns & Exchanges:
We offer a 6-week sleep exchange on mattresses, valid only with the purchase of a protective cover through us.

For all other furniture, we do not accept returns or exchanges, except in cases of damaged or defective goods. As a small, family-owned business, we strive to provide quality furniture and service, but we cannot support the same return policies as big-box stores. However, we evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis and will always work with our customers to find the best solution. If you have an issue with a purchase, please contact us—your satisfaction is our priority.

To help avoid the need for returns or exchanges, we recommend measuring your space before purchasing. If furniture does not fit, we may be able to accommodate an exchange, but prompt notification is required. Additional restocking or delivery fees may apply.

Special Orders are non-refundable unless approved by a manager before ordering. Any refunds are subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover product handling, credit card processing fees, and prepaid furniture costs. However, we offer 100% in-store credit for re-selection. As a small business, we aim to work with our customers while ensuring we can continue serving the community.

Damaged or Faulty Goods:
All furniture comes with a manufacturer’s warranty, and we offer an in-house warranty program to ensure customer satisfaction. Our service team manages warranty issues, but the manufacturer’s warranty does not cover misuse or customer-caused damage. Ask about our extended warranty for additional protection.

Our labor costs are covered for the first 12 months of an item's warranty. After that, a service fee of $50 or more may apply, depending on the repair. We do not profit from these fees—they go directly to our service team to cover time, labor, and materials. While we can't fix everything, we always strive to provide the best possible service.

Items Not Covered Under Warranty:
If an item is out of warranty, we still do our best to assist. Our labor costs may not be covered beyond the first 12 months, but we aim to keep repair costs as low as possible. In many cases, we offer low-cost or complimentary repairs. We value our customers and will go above and beyond to resolve any issues—you can count on us for honesty, transparency, and support.
