  • Terry Manson

    Meet Terry, the founder of The Furniture Store, established in 1989. Born and raised in Piqua, he built the business from the ground up and has shared his knowledge with the entire team. After years of dedication, he has stepped back to let his children continue his legacy—now enjoying his well-earned time on the beaches of Florida!

  • Austin Manson (General Manager)

    Austin, our General Manager, has been part of the store since he was 15. He leads marketing and advertising, managing everything from Google ads to Facebook posts. Along with advertising, you may see him out on delivery, out unloading trucks, in the repair workshop depending on the situation that day! Committed to continuing his family's legacy, he looks forward to running the business alongside his sister. A father of three boys, he enjoys sharing his passion for the store with the next generation.

  • Mara Manson (General Manager)

    Mara is the daughter of the owner and has been in the business practically since she could walk — she sold her first mattress at age six. In 2020, she decided to take on the family business fully and now works side-by-side with her brother as co-managers.

    From accounting and sales to store design and daily operations, Mara keeps everything running smoothly. With her “I’ve got this” attitude and unstoppable multitasking skills, she’s the reason the store looks great, works seamlessly, and stays fun.

  • Travis Petty- Sales Consultant

    Travis has over 30 years of sales experience and has been a key part of our team since 2018. A dedicated salesperson with extensive knowledge of the furniture industry, he welcomes every customer with enthusiasm and works hard to provide the best deals while meeting their needs.

    Outside of work, Travis is a devoted father who enjoys spending quality time with his family, bringing the same care and dedication to his personal life as he does to every sale.

  • Dan Drees - Delivery Driver

    Dan has been with us practically since day one, making sure every delivery arrives safely, on time, and with a smile. With years of experience navigating the roads and knowing the ins and outs of our products, he’s the dependable face behind every successful delivery.

    Reliable, personable, and always ready to go the extra mile—literally—Dan keeps our customers happy and our operations running smoothly.

  • Chris Mustaine- Warehouse Team

    Chris is the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps our warehouse running like clockwork. From organizing inventory to prepping orders and making sure everything gets where it needs to go, he’s the reason our operation stays smooth and stress-free.

    Reliable, hard-working, and always ready to jump in wherever needed, Chris is the guy you want on your team — and the one who keeps everything moving.

  • Brian Windle - Repair Team

    Brian handles warranties and repairs in our warehouse, expertly fixing any damage or defects to make your furniture look as good as new. A skilled craftsman with tools, he ensures everything is in top condition. A proud girl dad to three daughters, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids outside of work.

    Shelby works behind the scenes in the office, managing Community Outreach and helping connect us with local organizations and events. If you see us at an event, she’s likely there—be sure to say hi! As the wife of Austin and mother to their three boys, she keeps busy managing both her family and ensuring Austin stays organized at work.
